Who is responsible for this site?

This website is provided by Adiscon GmbH. Current ways to contact the site operator are listed on the Contact page. Please use that route for privacy questions or requests as well.

Optional analytics

This website does not use advertising, marketing tags, contact forms, active comment forms, or social-media widgets. It offers optional Google Analytics 4 measurement solely to understand how the public articles are used. Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set unless you actively choose “Allow analytics”. Declining has no effect on access to the site.

If you allow analytics, the site loads Google Analytics with measurement ID G-G4Y4H14T62. Google Analytics receives information about your use of this site, including pages viewed, technical browser and device information, and the network address required to make the request. IP anonymization is enabled. Google Signals, advertising personalization, remarketing, and advertising features are disabled. You can withdraw your choice at any time through the “Privacy choices” control in the footer; this stops future analytics loading and removes the first-party Google Analytics cookies that the site can remove.

Theme preference stored in your browser

If you explicitly switch between the light and dark themes, the site stores that choice in your browser's local storage under the key rger-theme. If you make an analytics choice, the site stores it under rger-analytics-consent so it can respect your choice on later visits. These preferences stay on your device and can be removed through your browser's site-data controls.

Technical access logs

When the production website is requested, the hosting and web-server infrastructure necessarily processes technical connection data so it can deliver the requested page and protect the service. Security access logs are configured to omit query strings, cookies, authorization headers, forwarding headers, and referrers; client addresses are masked before they are written. The remaining record may include the time, requested path, HTTP method and status, transferred byte count, masked network address, and user-agent information.

These minimized logs are used only to operate, troubleshoot, and secure the website. They are automatically rotated and retained for no longer than seven days. The legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the public website. Logs are not used for advertising or visitor profiling.

Archived content and comments

This site preserves public articles and previously approved public comments from the former WordPress site. The archive does not expose comment email addresses, IP addresses, or user-agent records and it offers no new comment form. If public archive content contains personal information that should be corrected or reviewed, use the Contact page and identify the relevant URL.

Images, external links, and embedded services

Images displayed automatically by the current site are served locally. Historical third-party image references that could not be safely localized are not loaded automatically. The archive can contain ordinary links to external websites; following one is a deliberate request to that provider, whose own privacy terms then apply. The current site does not automatically load YouTube players or other third-party embeds.

Your requests

You may request information about personal data relating to you and, where applicable, correction, restriction, deletion, or objection. Use the current details on the Contact page. Applicable statutory rights and retention obligations remain unaffected.

Changes to this notice

This notice is maintained together with the Git-based website. It will be updated when the site's actual data processing changes.
